They are great at making other, more sudden noises disappear. If there is a loud dog next door, crows outside baby&#039;s window, mommy or daddy dropping something on the kitchen floor, baby won&#039;t hear it, whereas without white noise they might hear it and wake up. It doesn&#039;t damage your hearing.
